Privacy policy

Valorant Practice Tracker is made by Brillness Studio. This policy covers the Valorant Practice Tracker Android and iOS apps, the web app and this website. It is written plainly on purpose.

If you never add an email

Valorant Practice Tracker works with no account. Your practice, your notes and your settings are stored on your own device and are not sent to us. We do not collect a device identifier, an advertising ID, or your location.

Reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. We do not use push notifications, so there is no push token and no server involved in reminding you.

If you add an email

Signing in with an email address turns on optional sync and lets you use the Team feature. From that point we store the following on our server:

• Your email address, used to sign you in and to identify your account.
• Your display name, if you set one.
• Your practice log: the date, the kind of activity, and how much. For example aim training minutes, a number of deathmatches, scrim maps and the format, and competitive games.
• Your journal: the rank you record and anything you type as a takeaway, a focus or a VOD review note.
• Your settings: the hour your practice day starts, your time zone, and your reminder times.
• Your team: which team you belong to, its name, and its invite code, if you join or create one.
• Your Practice Tracker Pro status, if you buy Pro: whether it is active and when it ends. We read it from RevenueCat so Pro also works in the web app.

We sign you in with a one time code sent to your email. We never ask you for a password.

If you buy Practice Tracker Pro

Practice Tracker Pro is bought in the iOS or Android app through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy, and we never receive your card or payment details.

We use RevenueCat to process purchases and check whether Pro is active. The app sends RevenueCat the purchase receipt, the product, its price and currency, your store country, purchase, renewal and expiry dates, and basic technical details such as your device's operating system, the app version, your language and your IP address. It identifies you to RevenueCat with a random ID made by the app, or with your Valorant Practice Tracker account ID if you have signed in with an email, so Pro follows your account to your other devices. RevenueCat never receives your email address, your name, your practice or your notes.

If you have signed in with an email, our server asks RevenueCat whether your Pro is active and stores only that answer and its end date. A reminder before a free trial ends is scheduled by your phone itself, like practice reminders.

If you joined the Android app waitlist

The website had a form, now closed, for people who wanted Valorant Practice Tracker on Android. If you used it we store three things: your email address, Android as your chosen platform, and the date you signed up. We also recorded a short word for where you arrived from, such as the name of the website that linked you, so we know which of our posts people found useful. It is not tied to you and it is not a tracking cookie.

We will email that address once, on the day the app is available, and then we delete the list. It is not a newsletter and we will not send you anything else. The waitlist is separate from your Valorant Practice Tracker account, and joining it does not create one.

To come off the list before then, email hi@brillness.com and we will remove the address.

What your teammates can see

Joining a team is a choice, and you can leave at any time. While you are in a team, the other members of that team can see your display name, your current rank, your streak, which days you practiced, and your activity counts for the period they are looking at.

Your notes and VOD reviews are private by default. You can choose to share individual Competitive and Scrim details and VOD reviews with your current Team. Shared details can include notes, maps, scores, opponent names and VOD links. Other Team members can read the details you share while you belong to that Team.

What we never do

• No advertising, and no advertising networks.
• No tracking across other companies’ apps or websites, no advertising IDs and no session recording.
• No selling or renting your data, and no sharing it for anyone else's marketing.
• No collecting your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or location.
• No profiling and no automated decisions about you.

Anonymous usage stats

The apps send anonymous usage stats so we can see which parts of Valorant Practice Tracker help and which do not. Each event carries a random ID made on your device, what happened (for example a screen opened or a kind of practice logged), the app version, whether it is the iPhone, Android or web app, your device model and operating system, your language and time zone, and an approximate country worked out from your IP address. It never includes your email, your name, your notes, anything you type or your account ID, and it is never linked to them. The random ID is replaced when you delete everything. Turn it off in Settings > Usage stats.

The Android beta page on this website sends a few anonymous events of its own: that the page opened, and which of its two steps you tapped. Each carries a random ID kept in your browser, whether the phone is Android, and the short word for where you arrived from. It sets no cookie, never includes anything you type, and sends nothing if your browser has Global Privacy Control turned on.

Who else touches the data

These services help run Valorant Practice Tracker and its device backup features:

• Supabase hosts synced practice and account data, and verifies email sign-in codes.
• Cloudflare serves this website and the web app, and holds the Android app waitlist.
• PostHog receives the anonymous usage stats described above and stores them in the EU.
• RevenueCat processes Practice Tracker Pro purchases and tells the app and our server whether Pro is active, as described above.
• Apple and Google take payment for Practice Tracker Pro through the App Store and Google Play.
• Resend delivers sign-in emails and processes the recipient address and email contents, including the sign-in code.
• Google Block Store stores a recovery copy of the Android app’s device identity and, when signed in, its sign-in credentials. Depending on your Google and device settings, this can be backed up to Google and restored after reinstalling or moving phones. It does not itself store your practice history.

Android Auto Backup and device transfers may also include locally stored practice and settings, depending on your device and backup settings. On iOS, the Keychain stores sign-in credentials, and device backups may preserve app data and credentials. These operating-system backups are separate from Valorant Practice Tracker sync and are controlled through your device and platform account settings. Restoring device-only practice is not guaranteed.

Data is stored on servers outside your country in some cases, which is normal for cloud hosting.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Practice history is the point of the app, so we do not quietly expire it.

Deleting everything

Open Valorant Practice Tracker, go to Settings, and tap Delete profile while signed in. That deletes your account and its practice from our server and removes that history from the device making the request. We retain only a revoked sign-in identifier so old tokens cannot recreate the account. Your Pro status is deleted from our server with the account. This cannot be undone.

If you use the app without an account, tap Log out in Settings to erase practice on this device. We cannot recover device-only history for you. Copies on other devices or in operating-system backups are separate; manage those through the relevant device or backup settings.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings. Purchase records kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their own retention rules; email us to ask that RevenueCat's record of your purchases be deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see your data, correct it, take it elsewhere, or have it erased. Ask us at hi@brillness.com and we will act on it. We do not charge for this.

Children

Valorant Practice Tracker is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, email us and we will remove it.

Security

Traffic between the app and our server is encrypted in transit. Data at rest is stored on managed, encrypted infrastructure. No system is perfect, so we keep the amount we hold small on purpose.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app.
